Why build a bicycle repair shop in Knivsta?

Hi, my name is Joey Mercurio, and I've been a bike mechanic for nearly ten years. My interest in bikes and bike repairs initially started as a hobby. I had a basic knowledge of bike repairs, but it wasn't until I realized the high costs of professional services that I decided to learn to fix my own bike. Being unemployed at the time, I needed a way to finance my cycling hobby. So, I contacted friends and offered to repair, customize, and repaint their bikes at a very low cost. This not only helped me financially but also allowed me to delve into the mechanics and various parts of bikes.

In March 2023, while my wife and I were unemployed, I began planning to start my own business. I contacted my previous employer, who is also my cousin's husband, for advice. He offered me an opportunity to freelance, which involved repairing bikes for a company for 16 days. This experience kickstarted my own business. April 12, 2023, marks the official opening date of our company's business account, allowing us to begin offering bike repair services. We started in a small garage and by September had moved to our own physical shop located just 300 meters from our home. Here we welcome walk-ins and provide a range of services. Now, we enjoy running our own shop and are excited about our future goals and achievements. We are incredibly grateful to the Knivsta community for their support and for bringing their business to us. Their trust and patronage mean the world to us.
